Forest Walking x Workshop|I just forgot the way home – Beitou Society’s Centennial Mountain Trail Tour
I haven’t forgotten my way home, it’s just that the road is under renovation… How to describe the path Beitou Society took back then? This expedition started from Beitou She’s Sanleqi Park to Guizikeng. “Sansengaki” originally refers to three cascading hills. There used to be two head families of Beitou Society and 50 or 60 Pingpu households living here, which falls within the traditional domain of Beitou Society. After the war, the Beitou Ceramic Refractory Equipment Factory of the Taiwan Industrial and Mining Corporation, the largest ceramic factory in Taiwan at the time, made the ceramic industry prosperous at that time. However, the hollowed-out hills also caused serious landslides. Special invitations include Mr. Zhu Xiaoci, a senior commentator from the Beitou Cultural Foundation, and Yang Ye, a special operator of Time Fragments. We will take everyone back to the historical scene to explore the stories and ecology of Beitou She Sandeqi Park and Guizikeng. Hand-drawn maps will be created on-site to recreate the passing landscapes.
