Rooted education can help children never forget their relationship with the land. Bananhua Tribe Primary and Secondary School is a school that educates children based on Bunun culture. After the school was moved by Typhoon Morakot, Principal Zhang Xinrong (Alang) took over and became an aboriginal experimental primary school. The Bunun spirit was included in the education curriculum. , let the children become real Bunun people and continue the culture and life of the tribe. Culture is the essence of life, and the decline of culture is a crisis shared by the Pingpu people. However, as long as there is a beginning, there is an opportunity for culture to sprout. Through Principal Alang’s educational sharing, Pan Zhenghao was invited to participate in the cultural revitalization of the Gaha Wu people. In response to the experience of revitalization, we look forward to making the cultural revitalization work of more Pingpu ethnic groups more diverse!
